Transit NZ / Microsoft New Zealand Innovation Centre
Video Viewer Prototype
Transit NZ collects and stores video recordings of state highways. Accessing and viewing the videos using standard media players did not add any useful spatial context even though this information is available.
The goal of this project was to create a single unified browser interface to view the spatial and video data for the highway network

Mobile Network Customer Service Management
Call centre staff need cellsite and cellular coverage information. The ability to quickly find the location given by a caller and to relate this to current and future coverage reduces call duration and improves the quality of response.

Quotable Integrated Valuing System
Quotable Value Limited (QV) is New Zealand's largest valuation and property information company. The company provides rating and current valuations for 1.7 million residential, rural, commercial and industrial properties. Hits to QV's website number seven million a month.
QIVS is split into separate internal and external systems, with external access provided to real estate agents, councils, valuers and banks.

NZ Fire Service: Smart Suite
Spatial Data Change Management
Emergency response relies heavily on quality location and deployment data. Change is frequent and country wide. NZ Fire Service needed an on-line system to enable the regions to identify and request changes to response regions and underlying mapping data. Quality assurance and business rules needed to be centralised and automated where possible.
