MEET SOME OF THE TEAM

Simon Jellie - Managing Director

Simon started e-Spatial in 1998 with a plan to increase the use of location in business operations and workflows. Using his background as a Surveyor and Photogrammetric Engineer and 25 years experience in digital spatial data, Simon now concentrates on emerging technologies, data quality and maintenance processes. His vision is that e-Spatial grows its internationally recognised reputation as a provider of successful location based solutions.

Matti Seikkula - CIO

Matti leads design, modelling and development. His 15 years of experience, particularly in relation to enterprise solutions, underpins e-Spatial's ability to integrate with e-business applications. By maintaining a constant process of research and development Matti ensures that e-Spatial is always aware of the implication of new technologies and standards.

Melissa West - Relationship Manager

Melissa is e-Spatials Relationship Manager and works closely with like minded and technically aligned organisations. Through Melissa, our partners gain in-depth knowledge of e-Spatials expertise and the opportunity to make best use of that knowledge, when attending to each of their clients individual needs.

Melissa's experience is based on many years of developing strong business partnerships, particularly within the general IT sector but more recently in the location intelligence/spatial data arena. One of Melissas strengths is her ability to form excellent working relationships based on trust and good business practice. Being a born and bred Wellingtonian, Melissa enjoys making connections and using her networking skills to bring organisations together for mutual benefit.

Andy Lowe - Operations Manager

With his extensive management experience in large organisations, Andy combines big business thinking with small business values. By constantly asking why, how, what, who and when Andy ensures that e-Spatial are taking more considered steps in their business direction but achieving better outcomes. Andy has worked across many industry sectors including Insurance, FMCG, Travel and Media. His ability to understand business needs, compliments e-Spatials ability to deliver to those needs, with customised location based IT solutions.

Shane Turk - Spatial Team Lead

Shane specialises in spatial and non-spatial database management using Oracle Spatial, Microsoft Sql Server 2008 Spatial, MapInfo SpatialWare and IBM DB2. His knowledge of spatial data and background in surveying  provides the foundation for our projects. He ensures that the customer gets the right spatial data for their solution. Shane is a Microsoft Certified Professional.
